TOWN OF FOND DU LAC FOND DU LAC COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION/TOWN BOARD PUBLIC NOTICE The Town of Fond du Lac Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing at 7:00 pm on Wednesday December 5, 2007 at the Town of Fond du Lac Town Hall, W5990 W. Pioneer Rd, Fond du Lac, WI. The hearing will be held at the request of the Town Board to review the rezoning of the Streblow property and other properties in the Town of Fond du Lac along Highway 23 to Commercial Zoning. Location of the properties is a part of the Northwest ¼ of the Northeast ¼ and part of the Southwest ¼ of the Northeast ¼ of the Northwest ¼ and part of the Southeast ¼ of the Northwest 1/4, all in Section 7, Township 15 North, Range 17 East, Town of Fond du Lac, Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin and more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the Southwest corner of the Northwest ¼ of said Section 7 and running thence North 88* 22’ East along the South line of the Northwest ¼ of said Section 7, a distance of 2319.93 feet; thence North 01*06’ West, 70.00 feet to a point on the Northerly right-of-way line of State Trunk Highway No. 23 and to the point of beginning; thence continuing North 01*06’ West 2205.42 feet; thence North 88*06’ East along the South line of land now owned by Susan L. Romalia, 559.60 feet; thence North 88*25’ East along he South line of said Romalia lands, 309.00 feet to the Southwest corner of the Certified Survey map #1888 as recorded in the Fond du Lac County Register of Deeds Office in Volume 10 of Certified Survey Maps on pages 127, 127A and 127B; thence South 01*06’ East, 12.00 feet; thence North 88*25’ East along the South line of lands now owned by Very Best Key and Lock Company, Inc., 1024.76 feet; thence South 01*08’ East along the East line of the West ½ of the Northeast ¼ of said Section 7, a distance of 2046.61 feet; thence South 89*00’ West along the North line of lands now owned by W.D. Steenburg, 250.00 feet; thence South 01*08’ East along the West line of said W.D. Steenberg lands. 163.00 feet to a point on the Northerly right-of-way line of said State Trunk Highway No. 23; thence South 89*00’ West along said right-of-way line 1085.75 feet; thence South 88*22’ West along said right of way line, 559.40 feet to the point of beginning. Excepting therefrom lands conveyed in Document No. 710605 and Document No. 710854 and: A parcel of land being the southerly 1000’ of the NW ¼ of Section 7, Town 15N-R17E and the Southerly 1000’ of the W ½ of the NE ¼ of Section 7, Town 15N-R17E, Except for Lot 1 of CSM #35996 as recorded in Volume 30, page 73 of the records of the Fond du Lac County Register of Deeds and except the Easterly ½ of the right of way of Streblow Drive as it now exists, also including the Northerly 1000’ of the SW ¼ of Section 7, Town 15N-R17E in the Town of Fond du Lac, Fond du Lac County, WI. PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that on December 10, 2007 at 7:00 pm at the Town Hall, W5990 W. Pioneer Road, Fond du Lac, WI, the Town Board of the Town of Fond du Lac will conduct a public hearing to receive final comments on the proposed rezoning. At the conclusion of the public hearing, the Town Board will discuss and act on the rezoning application. All interested parties are encouraged to attend the above hearings.
