December 29, 2009 Tax Collection dates
TOWN OF FOND DU LAC TAX COLLECTION INFORMATION I WILL COLLECT taxes at the TOWN HALL on December 22nd, and 29th, 2009 from Noon to 5:00 pm. I WILL COLLECT 2009 taxes at the TOWN HALL on January 8th, and 22nd, 2010 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and on January 14th , 2010 from Noon to 5:00 pm. FULL PAYMENTS ON REAL ESTATE, PERSONAL PROPERTY, SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS, OR 1st INSTALLMENTS ON REAL ESTATE ARE DUE BY JANUARY 31, 2010 TO THE TOWN TREASURER. (see mailing address below) 2nd INSTALLMENT PAYMENTS MADE AFTER JANUARY 31, 2010 SHOULD BE MADE PAYABLE AND SENT TO: FOND DU LAC COUNTY TREASURER, 160 S. MACY ST., PO BOX 1515, FOND DU LAC, WI 54936-1515 The enclosed tax slip shows your assessed valuation, present tax rate, and the estimated fair market value. The State has provided for one credit this year known as the State School Credit. The School Credit will be the same regardless of which School District you are located. Your tax rate is based on the amounts levied to the Township by the State of Wisconsin, County of Fond du Lac, Moraine Park Technical College, the school district you reside in and the Town of Fond du Lac. The Town tax of $2.256797 per $1,000 of valuation represents $498,911.00 placed in the Town’s general fund for general operating expenses and $60,000.00 for debt retirement. When paying your STATE and FEDERAL INCOME TAXES, or applying for any VEHICLE LICENSE, please give your address as the TOWN OF FOND DU LAC. Please give the Treasurer your new mailing address so that our records can be updated. DOG LICENSE INFORMATION Dog License fees are due EVERY YEAR when paying your taxes. Dog License fees are:_____ $4.00 – Spayed Female _____ $9.00 Un-spayed Female _____ $4.00 – Neutered Male _____ $9.00 Un-neutered Male PLEASE BRING ALONG PROOF OF RABIES SHOTS AND DATE OF EXPIRATION. No license will be issued without proof of vaccination. A $5.00 per dog penalty for dog licenses issued after April 1, 2010 will be assessed. PLEASE INFORM TENANTS THAT THEY ARE REQUIRED TO PURCHASE DOG LICENSES. My address is listed below if you are sending your tax payment by mail.
