January 22, 2007 Workshop Meeting
TOWN OF FOND DU LAC FOND DU LAC COUNTY WORKSHOP MEETING JANUARY 22, 2007 7:45 PM The Workshop Meeting was called to order by Chairman Harold Manske. Present were Chairman Manske, Supervisors Phyllis Giese and LeRoy Schmitz, Clerk Patti Supple, Treasurer Mel Buechel and various Town residents. Confirmation was made of open meeting notice. Chairman Manske passed out copies of driveway and street access ordinances. It was recommended that board members review the ordinances as well as the Town’s present culvert ordinance and have questions and comments for a future Workshop meeting. The mailbox ordinance was reviewed. With the new subdivisions in the Town there is a need for an ordinance to limit the size and location of the more decorative mailboxes and holders. Many styles could pose a hazard to snowplows. This ordinance should also be reviewed for input at a future Workshop. It was noted that Attorney John St. Peter will be giving a presentation to OSG members and City Council members at the City County Government Center on January 24, 2007 at 6:00 pm. The County survey of the Townline Road ditch showed the area is flat. The problem with drainage does not appear to be the Town ditch, but the property owners own drainage system. Russ Raube notified the Town that the road sign Wildwest Lane must be changed to Wild West Lane. Dr. Mikkelson has installed a temporary culvert off County T to provide access for the construction of his pole shed. After construction, the culvert will need to be removed. The deed restriction for the Pauly property needs to be finalized. Excess fill from the construction of roads in Stillwater Estates is being piled on outlot 51. This material will need to be removed. Motion was made and seconded to adjourn at 8:45 pm. Motion carried.
