September 27, 2006 Planning Commission
PLANNING COMMISSION Town of Fond du Lac Subject: Alexander Bishop Retail Business-Development Agreement Date: October 11, 2006 Chairman Tom Frances called the meeting concerning the Alexander Bishop Retail Business to order. Present were Chairman Tom Frances, Commissioners Chuck Schob, Gary Blazer, and Don Schoepke, Secretary Patti Supple, and various town residents. Secretary Supple read the notice as published in the Reporter, posted at the Town Hall and Firestation #2 and sent to adjoining property owners. The development agreement was reviewed. Some minor changes were recommended, including adding that snow plowing within the site is the responsibility of the owner, costs to maintain the drainage and erosion control, etc. is the responsibility of the owner, any work done by the Town due to lack of maintenance by the owner will be charged at 2 times the actual cost, and on page 3 the retaining wall is on the south side. Other concerns addressed were the off premise water flow and signage requirements. While an early start permit has been granted, all work will stop if the development agreement and final plans are not delivered to the Planning Commission and Town Board within a reasonable time frame. All work done by the developer is at his own risk until all plans and agreements are approved and signed. The Planning Commission will review all final plans before submission to the Town Board. Motion was made and seconded to approve the development agreement contingent on all exhibits being furnished, and the Planning Commission and Alexander & Bishop changes made. Also, the Planning Commission will review all exhibits, agreements and plans before submission to the Town Board. Motion carried, voice vote 5 aye Motion was made and seconded to approve the following minutes from previous meetings: 1. June 28, 2006 Schmitt rezoning 2. June 28, 2006 Esterbrook Estates II 3. August 9, 2006 Esterbrook Estates II 4. September 20, 2006 Schmitt-Stillwater Estates 5. September 20, 2006 Schmitt-concept plan-Forest Ave. Rd. 6. September 27, 2006 Ben’s Budget Cab 7.
