September 22, 2008 Workshop Meeting

WORKSHOP MEETING
SEPTEMBER 22, 2008

The Workshop Meeting was called to order by Chairman Harold Manske. 
Present were Chairman Manske, Supervisors Phyllis Giese and LeRoy
Schmitz, Clerk Patti Supple, Treasurer Jody Roffers, Paul Vraney of
the DOT, Tom Lynch of Strand & Associates and Walt Raith of the ECRP. 
Confirmation was made of open meeting notice.

Paul Vraney presented several options on the Highway 15 bypass for
the intersections of Highway 45 and County V.  After much discussion,
it was recommended that at the next Board Meeting the Town adopt a
resolution for Alternative A-3 Option 4, with the frontage road,
keeping Reinhardt Road open and with future extension to Park Avenue. 
This resolution will be sent to the DOT.

The roadman’s benefits and wages were reviewed.  The recommendation
was to increase Roadman Schmidt’s pay by $.50 per hour, give him a
$1000.00 savings bond, and $50.00 gift certificates for Thanksgiving
and Christmas.  This will be on the October agenda.

A pre-construction meeting for the Industrial Park will be held on
September 25, 2008 at 9:15 am at the Town Hall.

The Clerk received notice that the septic tank at the Town Hall will
need to be pumped and inspected.

Motion was made and seconded to adjourn.  Motion carried.
