TOWN OF FOND DU LAC FOND DU LAC COUNTY WORKSHOP MEETING MAY 29, 2008 7:00 PM The Workshop Meeting was called to order by Chairman Harold Manske. Present at the Meeting were Chairman Manske, Supervisors Phyllis Giese and LeRoy Schmitz, Clerk Patti Supple, and Treasurer Jody Roffers. Confirmation was made of open meeting notice. The impact fee ordinance proposals were reviewed. It was determined that the definitions in the Sun Prairie copy was the best and the sliding fees option from the City of Pewaukee was good. Impact fees for the Town should defray costs of the Park, Water Utility District, Stormwater Management, and the Sanitary Districts including the plant capacity. The payment should be made upon application for a building permit. The idea of fees based on square footage rather than cost was recommended. The 35 acre ruling in AG and AT zoning was discussed. Several properties have come on the market that do not meet the 35 acre requirement. It was decided to ask the Planning Commission to review the zoning requirements in AG and AT zoning as it pertains to the 35 acre ruling. The 600 sq. ft. utility buildings on the smaller residential lots are becoming a problem. It was decided to have the Planning Commission review zoning regulations for utility buildings. A swimming pool ordinance is needed. The Planning Committee is instructed to review swimming pool ordinances. Motion was made and seconded to adjourn. Motion carried.
