MEETING MINUTES
April 10, 2008
6:30 PM
CALL TO The Sanitary District #3 Meeting was called to order by
ORDER/ Commission President Harold Manske at 6:30 pm on
ROLL CALL April 10, 2008 at the Town Hall of the Town of Fond du Lac.
Present were Commissioners Manske and Phyllis Giese, Town Clerk
Patti Supple, Town Treasurer Jody Roffers, and Town resident John
Eilert. Commission President Manske confirmed open meeting notice.
PUBLIC John Eilert asked how the Town paid for the sewer charges.
Water
COMMENTS is metered through gauges in the system. Mr.
Eilert expressed concern that runoff water is seeping into the system
and the Town is being charged for this. President Manske reported
that the lines will be televised and the system will be checked at
that time. He added that the plumbing inspector checks for sump pump
hoses and other illegal water being pumped into the sewer lines. Mr.
Eilert’s concerns will be forwarded to the company doing the
televising.
MANHOLE The City’s insurance company has denied the claim for damage
to the Airport manhole. The Town will appeal the denial. Mr. Eilert
confirmed he heard the County mower hit the manhole cover.
2008 REPAIRS During 2008 lines in the system will be televised and
the manholes in the subdivisions and along Forest Avenue Road will be
checked and maintenance work done. The jobs will be done in
cooperation with other OSG members.
FINANCIALS/ After review, motion was made and seconded to approve the
PAY BILLS Financial Report. Motion carried. After review, motion
was made and seconded to approve the Payment of Bills. Motion
carried.
NEXT MEETING May 15, 2008 at 4:30 pm.
ADJOURNMENT Motion was made and seconded to adjourn. Motion
carried.
