February 25, 2008 Workshop Meeting
TOWN OF FOND DU LAC FOND DU LAC COUNTY WORKSHOP MEETING FEBRUARY 25, 2008 7:00 PM The Workshop Meeting was called to order by Chairman Harold Manske. Present were Chairman Manske, Supervisors Phyllis Giese and LeRoy Schmitz, Clerk Patti Supple, Treasurer Mel Buechel, County Executive Al Buechel, County Planner Sam Tobias, Attorney John St. Peter and various Town residents. Confirmation was made of open meeting notice. Clerk Supple gave a final update on the Town’s Association Christmas Party that the Town of Fond du Lac hosted. Final totals were $3162.50 for credits and expenses. It was decided that the Town did a fine job of hosting the party and that the change in venue was well received. Executive Buechel and Planner Tobias reported on the proposed layout for the Industrial Park. It was noted that Chris Kaempfer was notified of the addition to the water service area, and that the sewer service area will be determined with ECRP. It was noted that a water tower is being proposed to provide better water flow for the area and that it will be above the Airport height limit and will require a variance. However, until the Tower is erected adequate water flow is available. Tom Lanser of Gremmer & Associates will be doing the Town’s engineering for the project. The County will have to retain another engineering firm. While the maps provided were not final, it was determined that access will be provided to the Giese and McDonald properties. Clerk Supple distributed copies of the Board Audit for review. Motion was made and seconded to adjourn. Motion carried. Submitted by Patti Supple, Town Clerk
