MONTHLY MEETING
JANUARY 14, 2008
7:00 PM
The Monthly Meeting was called to order by Chairman Harold Manske.
Present were Chairman Manske, Supervisors Phyllis Giese and LeRoy
Schmitz, Clerk Patti Supple, Treasurer Mel Buechel, Assistant
Treasurer Jody Roffers, Attorney John St. Peter, and various Town
residents. Confirmation was made of Open Meeting notice. Minutes
from the previous meeting were approved with one correction, on page 2
it is Kathy Scharf not Scharp.
County Supervisor Mike Gannon reported that Tom Janke has been
appointed as the County Highway Commissioner. He noted that the salt
bills and added plowing have put the County in a bind financially. He
added that the Town does a good job plowing Brown Road. He also added
that the County replaces mailboxes damaged by County plows with
ordinary mailboxes.
The Resolution of intent to vacate Garden Drive was presented to the
Board. After review, motion was made and seconded to approve the
Resolution. Motion carried with 2 ayes and Supervisor Giese
abstaining.
The Resolution to allow the Clerk to determine the number of poll
workers needed for individual elections was presented. After review,
motion was made and seconded to approve the Resolution. Motion
carried.
The Development Agreement with Mashuda Contractors concerning the
installation of dry hydrants was reviewed. Attorney St. Peter
recommended that the reimbursement for the cost of Town Attorney fees
be added to the agreement. Motion was made and seconded to approve
the Mashuda Development Agreement with the addition of the
reimbursement of Town Attorney fees. Motion carried.
Dave Wagner and Chris Kaempfer met to fine tune the Water Tower costs
and payment schedules. A meeting will be scheduled to bring the Town
Board up to date.
No update on the HNTB noise study.
The Development Agreement with the Fondy Sports Complex was handed
out to the Board members by Attorney St. Peter. It was recommended to
review the agreement at the next Workshop Meeting.
The new garbage and recycling bins were delivered to Town residents.
Residents have until March 31, 2008 to request a larger bin without
incurring a delivery charge.
No meetings are scheduled for the Planning Committee or Board of
Appeals.
Property on Highway 175 owned by River Hills Farms is being annexed
to the City of Fond du Lac.
Chairman Manske noted that the cost of salting and plowing the roads
this season will be high. Cost for salt has exceeded $7000.00. The
County will not sell any more plain salt, it will be a salt and sand
mixture.
There were no CSM’s or licenses.
Sanitary District #3 will meet on January 17th, 2008 at 4:30 pm.
The Joint meeting to review the Stormwater Management regulations
will be held at 6:00 pm on January 24th, 2008.

Motion was made and seconded to approve the Financial Report. Motion
carried.
